Project Manager/Senior Project Manager

About the role

Colony Construction is growing its U.S. operations and seeks an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in this growth. This is an opportunity to join a company where your work is visible, your decisions matter, and you’ll have the autonomy to lead projects without layers of bureaucracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from award through closeout
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, subcontractors
• Manage client communication, contract administration, RFIs, submittals, drawings
• Work closely with field teams to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of Project Management experience
• Heavy industrial construction experience
• Direct experience managing structural steel and/or pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) projects
• Experience leading projects from award through closeout
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, procurement and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and shop drawing review
• General Contractor / Prime Contractor experience is strongly preferred

Qualifications

• The ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work on site when required, including rotational schedules for certain projects

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
