Responsibilities

  • Conduct and facilitate Scrum Ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Grooming, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination, tracking, and following up on external dependencies.
  • Help the team identify risks and dependencies, and work closely with the team and external teams to manage them.
  • Regularly keep track of metrics such as velocity and burn down.
  • Manage the Product Backlog, working closely with product owners to create, maintain, and prioritize it.
  • Keep the backlog clean and updated in terms of state, target dates, and linking user stories to appropriate features and epics.
  • Protect the team from interruptions and distractions to maximize productivity.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and visibility across the team.
  • Build a trusting and open team environment where problems or concerns are raised without fear of blame.
  • Guide the team on achieving higher levels of Agile maturity at a sustainable pace.

Requirements

  • Agile project management expertise.
  • Experience with agile project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a scrum team effectively.
  • Experience working with stakeholders from multiple departments and project teams.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex stakeholder ecosystems and efficiently remove blockers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (required).

Nice-to-Haves

  • ScrumMaster certification.
  • Experience with change management activities including:
    • Stakeholder communications.
    • Facilitation of meetings with stakeholders.
    • Supporting training activities.
    • Identifying gaps and/or adding requirements based on conversations with stakeholders.
    • Prioritizing work or activities based on stakeholder feedback and project schedule.
    • Identifying and resolving gaps in a given activity or process.

Pay

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51–$57 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
