Job Description
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and support projects from inception to successful completion. This includes closely monitoring project costs against the original budget, generating financial performance reports, facilitating and negotiating subcontractor contracts, assisting with material procurement, and overseeing invoice and schedule management. The Project Manager maintains open and fluid communication channels among all project participants and resolves risk factors efficiently and cost-effectively.
Job Requirements
- Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with internal team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Oversees successful production of multiple residential remodeling projects while maintaining MRM quality standards.
- Participate in pre-production through post-production process.
- Track budget and provide financial projections.
- Provide client meeting reports and updated project status regularly.
- Create and manage comprehensive construction schedules and collaborate with Supervisors to monitor progress, identify risks, and adjust timelines as needed.
- Responsible for quality control.
- Keep up to date on industry trends and developments.
- Prior experience working with project management software, MS Office Suite, smartphones, etc.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
- Must be able to work at computer or desk area for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer and see color.
- Ability to navigate active construction sites, including uneven surfaces, stairs, outdoor terrain, and partially completed structures.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within King County.
