The Project Manager has a strong focus on daily field control of subcontractors, safety, quality, schedule, and site logistics. This role is responsible for driving execution through detailed look-ahead planning, coordination of inspections, management of site access, and proactive risk mitigation to keep projects on track for high-end residential homes in the Los Angeles Palisades. As the primary field leader, the Superintendent ensures work is performed safely, meets QA/QC standards, and is delivered on time while maintaining strong client confidence. They serve as the main point of contact for owners, inspectors, and project stakeholders, while mentoring field staff and leading subcontractor performance from mobilization through closeout. Project Types: Residential, New Build, High-endTravel: LocalOn-site: 100%Location: Pacific Palisades, CA (Los Angeles) Essential Job Functions Lead and oversee all day-to-day onsite construction activities for high-end custom residential projects.Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure productivity, quality, and accountability.Develop and maintain detailed short-term look-ahead schedules aligned with the overall project schedule and key milestones.Coordinate trade sequencing, material deliveries, equipment, inspections, and manpower to maintain uninterrupted project flow.Proactively identify potential schedule, quality, coordination, and constructability issues and drive timely solutions.Conduct regular jobsite walks to monitor progress, workmanship, safety, site conditions, and overall project readiness.Maintain exceptional standards of craftsmanship, finish quality, cleanliness, organization, and protection of completed work.Manage subcontractor performance, including scope execution, manpower, schedule adherence, workmanship, and completion of corrective work.Coordinate complex trade interfaces and resolve field conflicts to maintain project momentum and minimize rework.Enforce company safety standards, OSHA requirements, PPE compliance, housekeeping, and jobsite safety protocols.Maintain accurate daily logs and project documentation, including manpower, progress, deliveries, inspections, weather, safety, and significant field activities.Communicate project status, field conditions, risks, and critical issues clearly and proactively to the Project Manager and project leadership.Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, field directives, inspections, and other project documentation as required.Lead punch-list execution, final inspections, corrective work, site cleanup, and project closeout activities.Support the successful turnover of the completed residence, including as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals, and other final project documentation.All other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred10+ years of field construction experience, including 5+ years as a Superintendent for a residential General Contractor (GC)Excellent client liaison, project lead, and relationship building and problem solving skills.Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and subcontractor coordinationExperience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred)OSHA 30 certificationFirst Aid / CPR certification (or ability to obtain)General Contractor license or LEED experience is a plus Why Join Sevan? Pay & Benefits: The anticipated compensation range for the position is $130,000 - $150,000, is based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience.
