Overview

Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand their Renewable Energy practice in Pittsburgh, PA!

Responsibilities

  • Lead a Renewable Energy team while building and managing relationships with key clients.
  • Cook up and direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to make sure wind project needs and objectives are met.
  • Operate with integrity and sound business principles.
  • Provide vision, business planning, and strategy.
  • Establish goals.
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Have open communication with your partners and team.
  • Grow and lead a land development practice.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience managing renewable energy or related projects.
  • Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for wind energy projects.
  • Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners, and/or land owners.
  • Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, and/or GIS.
  • Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work.
  • Able to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization.
  • Able to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably.
