Project Manager-Power Generation (Liberty Projects)

About the role

Northeast-Western Energy Systems USA, LLC, a division of INNIO, is seeking a Project Manager - Power Generation Systems to join our team. This position will be based in the Midland, TX and/or El Reno, OK areas, with occasional office presence in Brea, CA and frequent travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Average of five (5) years' experience with electrical and mechanical equipment components and systems
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities
• Managing a high workload: multi-tasking, multi-organizing, delivering contributions with multiple projects with sometimes conflicting resource requirements
• Direct involvement with moving mechanical systems and energized electrical circuits
• Managing supply chains, shipping, Customs and importation requirements
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, operating systems and internet communications

Qualifications

• Project management or project execution experience
• U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Benefits

Reviews and verifies project documentation for completeness, format and compliance with contract requirements. Confers with engineers, managers, contractors, customers and others to discuss project, prepare documents or modify contract schedules. Manage Technical Equipment and delivery schedules. Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance testing reports with project engineers and Commissioning Director. Develop and package reports for submission to manufacturers, customer(s), and corporate database. Work independently and as part of a team to facilitate installation of power plant equipment and systems. Assist customers, engineers, and contractors with electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment through stages of project development, delivery, commissioning, training, and on-going customer support. Coordinate plant pre-start activities, commissioning and field testing through commercial operation. Provide non-technical support to project engineers. Be the positive face of the company to the customer. Other duties as assigned.
