Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of practice advancement projects, partnering with clinical, operational, physician, and administrative leaders as needed
  • Identify and oversee practice advancement project resources to ensure project activities and milestones are completed on time
  • Identify and mitigate practice advancement project risks (e.g., operational disruptions, budget overruns, and regulatory non-compliance)
  • Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators and strategic project outcomes, to create actionable insights for current or future practice advancement projects
  • Collaborate with leaders to ensure alignment of strategic project spending with organizational financial policies and goals
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs and socialize project collateral as required
  • Mentor strategic project(s) teams by providing feedback and career development opportunities
  • Support SVP UFHMG with ad-hoc practice advancement initiatives and special assignments as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related) strongly preferred
  • 5–7+ years of progressive experience in ambulatory practice operations, strategy, program or project management, management consulting, or related field
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional, enterprise-level projects from planning through execution and delivery, ideally in healthcare or similarly regulated industries
  • Demonstrated ability to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success metrics, and to monitor, track, and report project outcomes to senior leadership
  • Experience managing project resources, mitigating risks (e.g., operational, financial, regulatory), and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of working effectively across clinical, operational, administrative, and executive teams
  • Experience mentoring and developing team members, fostering accountability, and building project management capabilities within teams
  • Demonstrated ability to support executive leadership on strategic initiatives, special projects, or transformation programs
  • Experience aligning project financials with organizational policies and strategic goals, including collaboration with operational leadership
  • (if applicable) PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other formal project management certification preferred but not required
