About the role
The Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle EPM initiatives and broader ERP/Finance Transformation programmes. This role requires a blend of project leadership, functional understanding of finance processes, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Oracle EPM implementations and a strong background in O2C, P2P, and financial process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of Oracle EPM implementation projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met.
- Manage cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and external partners to drive successful programme outcomes.
- Oversee ERP transformation workstreams, particularly those impacting core finance processes such as Order-to-Cash (O2C) and procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, governance packs, and stakeholder communications.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design workshops, and process mapping sessions.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, and change management activities.
- Monitor project financials, resource allocation, and vendor performance.
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support testing cycles, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilisation.
- Champion continuous improvement and best-practice project methodologies.
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience delivering Oracle EPM implementation projects (e.g., FCCS, PBCS, EPBCS, ARCS).
- Strong background in ERP solutions (Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar).
- Demonstrated involvement in Finance Transformation programmes, particularly O2C and P2P process optimisation.
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, planning, consolidation, and operational finance workflows.
- Excellent project management skills with experience in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, assess impacts, and support decision-making.
- Experience working with third-party vendors, system integrators, and offshore teams.
- Able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, or equivalent.
- Experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or data-driven decision support.
- Exposure to change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci).
- Background in large-scale digital transformation programmes.
