Project Manager (Ops Stack)

Project Manager (Ops Stack) – remote position within the Eastern Time Zone, supporting a cloud and technology company based in Raleigh, NC. The role oversees initiatives that support client security platforms and operational environments to achieve and maintain FedRAMP Moderate compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional programs supporting the security stack, operational controls, and compliance initiatives required for FedRAMP Moderate environments.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocation, risks, and stakeholder communications across engineering, security, compliance, and operations teams.
• Drive compliance readiness efforts, including continuous monitoring, audit support, and remediation tracking.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure secure application deployment, operational excellence, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies to strengthen security, compliance, and service delivery outcomes.
• Provide program governance, status reporting, and executive‑level updates while ensuring successful delivery of cloud and security‑focused initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in the United States; RTP‑based preferred, with flexibility to work remotely within the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
• 5+ years of project and program management experience leading complex technology initiatives and cross‑functional teams.
• Current Project/Program Manager with hands‑on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), cloud operations, infrastructure operations, or related technical disciplines.
• Strong understanding of IT operations and FedRAMP Moderate frameworks, including security controls, compliance requirements, and operational governance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, stakeholder management, and risk management skills, with experience delivering cloud and security‑focused programs.

$120,000–$150,000
