Project Manager - Oil and Gas
Scope
Define project scope goals and deliverables.
Day-to-Day Execution
Lead cross-functional teams to complete daily tasks and milestones.
Budget & Risk
Track project expenses, manage risks, and mitigate roadblocks.
Financial Management
Monitored aggregate project budgets, identified costsaving opportunities, and managed financial forecasting.
Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project status.
Standardization
Established the project management framework, templates, and best practices for the company.
Governance
Made oversight of portfolio performance and ensured projects adhered to compliance.
Resource Allocation
Oversees capacity planning and distributes budgets and personnel across multiple projects.
Resource Tracking
Aided in capacity planning and consolidated resource time-tracking across active projects.
Reporting
Generated and distributed weekly and monthly status reports, tracking KPIs like budget variances and timeline milestones.
Experience
- A hands-on Project Manager with experience as a Scrum Master who has built and maintained ADO boards from scratch.
- Proactively creates and tracks work items without prompting.
- Catches action items in real-time during meetings.
- Has experience coordinating across operations and technical teams in an industrial environment.
- Preferred familiarity with oil and gas domain knowledge, especially upstream.
- Familiarity with SCADA, OT systems, OSI PI.
