Project Manager (Ogden, UT)

The Role

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring successful delivery of projects from award through installation with a focus on exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for executing projects within scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project life cycle.

This role is based on-site in Ogden, UT.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements and constraints to complete project plan and conduct internal and external kick-off meetings.
• Responsible for creating and managing project schedule, budget, communication plan, and risk register.
• Responsible for planning and execution of risk management plans.
• Align project plan with cross-functional groups, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
• Work with cross-functional groups to develop mitigation plans and corrective actions when necessary.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and third-party inspectors.
• Build customer relationships, while balancing business priorities.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues.
• Prepare internal and external project reports and conduct project status meetings.
• Manage project scope and changes.
• Prepare, submit, and manage internal and external change orders.
• Congducts lessons learned to develop and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience managing complex development or manufacturing projects.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• Experience interpreting customer specifications, contract terms, and proposals.
• JDE systems and Microsoft Project experience preferred.
• Ability to travel between La Vergne, TN and Ogden, UT, approximately 20%.
