Technical Project Manager – Salt Lake City, UT

Key Activities

• On time execution, planning and management of all internal engineering activities of our challenging international projects
• Implementation of the Customer requirements specification in compliance with industry standards, regulations and national requirements
• Responsible for the conceptualization as well as preparation of technical specifications, production documents, test plans, type tests and documentation & training documents
• Management of the project team, which consists of Project Managers Engineering and Lead Project Engineers for various disciplines
• Lead in Customer support and communication in close collaboration with the Commercial Project Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent training
• PMP preferred
• Training in business administration preferred
• 5+ years experience in the field of rail vehicle, defense, aerospace, automotive or equivalent
• Experience in leading challenging projects in an international environment
• Team player with excellent social skills, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Structured, goal-oriented, dynamic and loyal personality
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Business fluent in English (required) and German (preferred at least B1 level)
