Duties And Responsibilities

  • Come up with ideas for projects and get them approved by clients.
  • Make sure projects stay on schedule and don’t go over budget.
  • Work with different teams to make sure everyone knows what they need to do.
  • Make sure the project meets the quality standards.
  • Find out if there might be problems and come up with ways to fix them.
  • Keep everyone updated on how the project is going.
  • Help people understand the project and answer their questions.
  • Work with other people to make sure the project is done right.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Knows about designing and building things for cities and towns.
  • Can use special computer programs to help with projects.
  • Is good at talking to people and writing letters.
  • Has worked on projects before and knows how to do it.
  • Can work well with other people and lead a team.
  • Can think ahead and plan for problems.

Education And Experience

  • Has a college degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Has at least two years of experience leading projects.
  • Has at least two years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Has at least five years of experience in engineering design.
