Project Manager - Mission Critical (New York)

As an international practice, Mission Critical involves collaborative work across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct engineering projects, ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality standards are met.
• Ensure adherence to project review processes and quality control guidelines.
• Establish project teams, coordinate activities across multiple disciplines, and ensure efficient, cost-effective staff utilization.
• Solve complex problems requiring adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Execute assignments using advanced techniques to develop new or improved processes, equipment, or technological methods.
• Develop and evaluate plans for major projects, including feasibility assessments when data is insufficient or testing is advisable.
• Coordinate departmental or divisional project studies, reports, or design assignments.
• Provide progressive design and project management responsibilities, including leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff.
• Regularly meet and correspond with clients or outside personnel.
• Handle some marketing responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited program.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience (completion of a master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience).
• At least 3 years of project management experience in the mission-critical industry preferred.
• Demonstrated success in project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments.
• Capability to devise new approaches to problems encountered.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
• Professional engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.

Pay

Expected compensation range: $115,000.00–$290,000.00 yearly. The total annual compensation package includes a base salary and eligibility for a discretionary year-end incentive bonus program. Factors influencing compensation include individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and work location.

Schedule
