About the role

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, with a focus on Mass Timber experience. This position requires managing all aspects of project delivery, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and stakeholder communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure alignment with project requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate all construction activities on-site, including subcontractor work, equipment installations, and material handling.
  • Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets, implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous quality control procedures and standards for workmanship, materials, and finished products.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of construction to identify and address quality issues.
  • Implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to resolve quality deficiencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and issues.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and conference calls to ensure alignment and coordination among project teams.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and challenges that may impact project delivery, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve project-related issues, conflicts, and disputes in a timely and professional manner to minimize delays and disruptions.
  • Implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to address project issues and prevent reoccurrence.

Requirements

  • Extensive project management experience in construction, with a focus on Mass Timber.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the ability to drive results.
