Project Manager (Masonry)

Duties

• Oversight of the estimating process for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Collaboration with project managers to develop comprehensive project estimates that reflect the scope of work, materials, labor, and overhead costs.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and terms.
• Conducting regular reviews of estimates to identify areas for improvement in cost control and efficiency.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior estimators, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Monitoring construction site activities as needed to ensure alignment between estimates and actual project progress.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
• Proven experience in masonry and concrete.
• Demonstrated ability in cost control, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey information to stakeholders at all levels.
