Project Manager - Low Voltage Cabling - 100% TRAVEL REQUIRED

About the role
The Low Voltage Project Manager oversees assigned projects, ensuring all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements for safety, quality, management, and financial performance. The role focuses on efficient project execution in staffing, materials management, financial oversight, customer care, and delivery goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
- Plan, manage, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
- Review job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoice preparation, customer collections, and financial reporting to customers and management.
- Manage quality and safety issues on customer projects.
- Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
- Act as the Company liaison for customer interface.
- Create, develop, and implement account process improvements.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and oral presentation skills.
- High skill level in interpreting blueprints and project documents, including specifications, reporting, and quality requirements.
- Ability to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
- Proficiency in learning Company and customer project management systems.
- Ability to secure and maintain a Company-sponsored American Express Card.
- Proficiency with trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, 4-pair continuity tester, and 5-gang punch tool.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalency (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical/construction field.
- Experience in customer interface, acting as a liaison between the customer and the Company.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage them to final completion and customer turnover.
- Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
