Project Manager – Lighting Electronics

About the role

Forvia Hella is seeking a project manager to join their BD Lighting Electronics team. The primary function of this role is to take ownership of assigned forward lighting programs. This individual will be joining a well-established team that is heavily involved in next-generation lighting initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on full cycle lighting electronics programs
• Build relationships with both internal and external clients in order to establish and steer existing programs
• Take ownership of assigned international project goals including planning, steering, and controlling activities
• Achieve project targets in an ever-changing business environment to prevent scope creep
• Vigilantly watch over risk assessment and own all change management functions of assigned programs
• Proactively anticipate, manage, and escalate any deviations on assigned programs

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field of study (Engineering or other technical fields preferred)
• 5+ years experience within the automotive industry
• Working knowledge of SAP, APQP, and the product development process
• Above average verbal and written communication skills including presentation and negotiation skills
• High energy team player
