Project Manager IV

About the role

Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced Project Manager IV to support cross-functional Operations and Engineering teams for a leading global technology organization. This individual will play a critical role in driving complex programs, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional programs and initiatives.
• Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and other business stakeholders to align on priorities, objectives, and deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into actionable project plans, timelines, and execution strategies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation plans.
• Provide regular status updates, communications, and reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-through across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify process improvements and support scalable solutions.
• Build strong working relationships across organizations to ensure successful program delivery.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience managing cross-functional programs or projects with a demonstrated history of successful delivery.
• Prominent experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Able to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with moderate direction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large-scale operational or engineering programs.
• Background in technology, operations, product development, or related environments.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
• PMP, Scrum, or other project management certifications are a plus.
