Mission and Overview
The Project Mace, part of Mace's MPA delivery partner joint venture with Parsons and Arcadis, is partnering with the Gateway Development Commission (GDC) on the Hudson Tunnel Project in New York. This project aims to enhance rail transit capacity, reliability, and resiliency, serving approximately 800,000 daily commuters.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously update the multi-year IT roadmap across applications, infrastructure, data, and security.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives with timelines and dependencies.
- Maintain traceability between strategic goals, initiatives, and outcomes.
- Ensure initiatives align with enterprise architecture standards and target-state designs.
- Support architecture governance checkpoints and identify architecture drift.
- Maintain enterprise network diagrams covering on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Ensure architecture documentation is version-controlled and aligned to standards.
- Manage roadmap-aligned projects including scope, schedule, and risks.
- Manage project artifacts (charters, RAID logs, status reports).
- Facilitate workshops and provide executive communications and updates.
- Support governance processes and improve roadmap and reporting practices.
- Coordinate and administer the IT Steering Committee (or equivalent governance forum) to support decision-making on IT strategy, roadmap priorities, and major technology investments.
- Develop meeting agendas, materials, and briefing documents, including roadmap updates, initiative status, risks, and decision points.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure clear documentation of decisions, action items, and approvals.
- Maintain records of governance decisions and ensure alignment with the IT Strategic Plan, enterprise architecture, and security requirements.
- Track follow-up actions and ensure timely execution of Steering Committee directives.
- Ensure that proposed initiatives, changes, and exceptions are formally reviewed and approved through established governance processes prior to execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant IT project or strategy experience.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT, cloud (Azure preferred), networking, and cybersecurity.
- Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
- Public sector or large-scale infrastructure experience.
- Familiarity with TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework).
- PMP or similar certification.
- Experience with architecture diagrams/tools (Visio, Lucidchart).

Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $150k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
