About the Role
As an IT Project Manager, you will lead IT Projects following the PMO governance framework. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be accountable and own the success of the entire project from approval to administrative closeout. This role requires a highly motivated team leader who can communicate and influence effectively in a cross-functional environment, engaging with multi-disciplined team members, executive staff, business partners, and suppliers.
You must possess the ability to promote collaborative decision-making, provide direction, and ensure the team understands key objectives, tasks, and timeframes. The role demands the ability to objectively evaluate and manage risks to project objectives, drive difficult discussions, and make project decisions. Leading through ambiguity and driving toward clarity using PMO Governance processes is critical for success.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of multiple IT Projects for Tennant.
- Ensure that projects comply with the PMO governance framework, organizational objectives, and quality standards.
- Track and report project performance using key performance indicators, including schedule, budget-to-actuals, issues, and risks.
- Lead cross-functional project teams successfully through the entire life cycle of the project.
- Manage stakeholders’ expectations and needs, ensuring the defined project scope delivers on key objectives and execution aligns with stated business value.
- Execute project Communication Plans per Tennant PMO processes and specific project needs.
- Actively support and champion the maturation and adoption of the PMO Governance framework.
- Build and lead multi-discipline project teams using resources across IT and supporting business functions.
- Coordinate and manage all project documentation as required by the IT process framework, including phase gate review materials and presentations.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans that ensure delivery of stated project objectives and deliver value to Tennant.
- Communicate all aspects of project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to a diverse stakeholder group in a manner appropriate to their needs and in accordance with PMO guidelines.

Pay
The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith, and Tennant Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
