Job Purpose
Leading, planning, monitoring and assisting with the direction of concurrent multidisciplinary IS projects. Projects are completed with a high-level accountability to achieve targets. Provides high quality project management and analysis for clinical and operational issues. Partners with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals and objectives for each initiative.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Health Systems, Engineering, Business Administration or a closely related field required.
Minimum Experience Required
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible professional work experience involving project management, consulting and analysis, planning, business development, operations improvement or a closely related field in an IS related activity is required.
Additional Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred.
- Project Management Institute (PMI) or similar certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides consultative, technical and decision making support to leadership regarding information system, financial and/or operational improvements and growth initiatives.
- Oversees project and work plans and other essential functions to complete key projects and achieve key operational metrics for the IS system.
- Provides project management, on-going support, follow-up analysis and implementation support for IS projects with widely varying scope.
- Presents and communicates in a professional and effective manner.
- Affords assistance in developing project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or system changes.
