Responsibilities

  • Industrial plant experience strongly preferred; industrial plant consulting experience preferred.
  • Professional Engineering License preferred.
  • Coordinate and direct a project team’s engineering, design, procurement, and construction efforts to meet customer objectives.
  • Provide, endorse, and enforce project principles, practices, and guidelines for efficient and safe resource allocation.
  • Exercise judgment to ensure sufficient alternatives are considered and optimal solutions are achieved within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Identify and strengthen team and project execution weaknesses through process and personnel improvements.
  • Ensure quality reviews (e.g., inter-discipline and constructability) are integrated into the project execution plan.
  • Obey and enforce safety rules in all work activities.
  • Maintain positive client relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program OR Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction or Construction Management from an accredited program.
  • 10+ years in industrial engineering or industrial construction.
  • Ability to organize and manage teams effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects and client assignments.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
