About the role
The Project Manager III at PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC will lead complex electric utility construction projects and may manage multiple projects concurrently. This role has increased responsibility for financial performance, client relationships, and team leadership. The PM III serves as a key contributor to regional operational success.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of complex transmission and distribution projects
- Develop and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Oversee Superintendents, Project Engineers, and support staff
- Drive project profitability through effective cost control and risk management
- Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact
- Lead change management, claims resolution, and contract administration
- Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and develop less-experienced project staff
- Provide regular performance updates to regional leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6–10 years of progressive project management experience in utility construction
- Proven ability to manage large or complex projects and multiple stakeholders
- Strong financial acumen and contract management experience
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management, scheduling, and cost control tools
- PMP certification required within 60 days of hire
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to the metro area

Pay
Salary range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with some travel required.
