Project Manager II - USA - IA - Des Moines - R26-05791

About the role

The successful applicant will be assigned to several projects simultaneously and will manage each project from beginning to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Sales Team/Estimators with pricing, walkthroughs, and bid submittals for new/extra work.
• Prepare for the commencement of new jobs, ensuring all necessary documentation and requirements are met.
• Liaise between the field and the operations/scheduling department.
• Liaise between the engineering department and the field.
• Track productivity and financial targets.
• Prepare and submit extra work pricing and pricing breakdowns/backup.
• Provide customer service to customer contacts.
• Ensure all work performed is captured, priced, submitted to the customer, and billed by the Accounts Receivable team.

Requirements

• Strong administrative skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Persistent and self-motivated.
• Takes ownership of job tasks and responsibilities.
• Good customer service attitude.
• Technological knowledge and experience, specifically a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in the construction industry required (1 – 5 years); experience with scaffolding industry a plus.
• Experience in engineering a plus.
• Valid state driver's license required.
