Responsibilities
- Simulation Development: Designing, coding, and testing advanced rocket and missile dynamics simulations to evaluate flight performance.
- Technical Validation: Applying advanced engineering theories to ensure MS&A tools are accurate, complete, and based on sound physical principles.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with developers and engineers to evaluate solid rocket motors, guidance equipment, and propulsion systems.
- Strategic Reporting: Translating complex simulation data into technical briefings and reports for the System Program Office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- 12+ years of industry experience (10 years with a graduate degree)
- Understanding of agile software development practices and procedures
- Developer level proficiency with configuration management tools such as Git
- Developer level proficiency with coding languages such as C++ and Python
- Current US DoD/DoW Secret Security Clearance
