About the role
The Project Manager II is responsible for leading a project’s delivery team through the successful delivery of all projects. Project Managers may manage one or more client engagements simultaneously, overseeing Coastal Cloud resources and interfacing with client members to meet budget, delivery, and customer satisfaction goals. They manage risks and resolve issues via regular status meetings with the project team and all stakeholders. Engagements may range between $100,000–$500,000, include up to two workstreams, and involve up to 10 team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviors, and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance, ensuring optimal conditions for success.
- Ensure all team members understand their roles and delegated tasks on the project.
- Empower each team member by enabling, mentoring, and delegating tasks for their success.
- Manage the client relationship throughout the engagement to build and maintain a strong customer relationship.
- Continually assess people, process, and technology risks and adjust project plans accordingly.
- Proactively manage risks and issues, and communicate upwards both internally and with the client to ensure project KPIs are defined and baseline metrics are recorded.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to Coastal Cloud project team members and maintain accurate performance metrics throughout implementations.
- Leverage a solid understanding of the Salesforce product suite to validate key design options and present proposal solutions to all levels of client management.
- Set up and maintain tools to track overall project execution, including Project Plan, Forecast accuracy, TaskRay, and Risk & Issue log.
- Responsible for proper close-out of the project, including CSAT review.
- Support change management initiatives and overall Coastal Cloud best practices.
- Travel with client or project team as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of full life-cycle Salesforce implementation experience as a Project Manager, providing strong leadership and delivery oversight.
- Strong client management and communication skills, with the ability to interface with high-level internal and external stakeholders to build trust and collaboration.
- Active Salesforce Administrator or other Salesforce certification required.
- Ability to maintain oversight and organization of multiple mid- to large-level projects ranging in duration, size, and budget with multiple workstreams in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Exposure to multiple Salesforce Clouds and integration with additional SaaS platforms.
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with the ability to lead high-level stakeholders in technical discussions and project oversight.
- Ability to lead internal team stand-ups, providing guidance and mentorship throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
- Work with leadership to follow up with the client (and/or internally) to communicate and execute mitigation plans.
- Full-time permanent US work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- PMP Certification.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
