Project Manager II (Cost Management) - Mission Critical

About the role

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Project Manager II (Cost Management) to join our National Mission Critical team!

Responsibilities

• Participate in owner/client sales presentations.
• Monitor job costs.
• Prepare and control budget, schedule, and bid documents; negotiate and award subcontracts; prepare profit projections.
• Conduct project close-out duties, including subcontract and prime contract reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• 6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (Mission Critical/Data Center experience preferred).
• High level of honesty and integrity.
• Manage complex budgets, potentially multiple at one time.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, SmartSheets, and Nexus).
• Advanced knowledge of budget management, estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing.
• Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, cost consultants, and owner/clients.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of complex projects such as mission critical, healthcare, laboratory, or manufacturing with contract values of $100M+
• Deep understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong financial management and change management background.
