We are seeking a Project Manager II for our Transportation Division in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and control project(s) in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
- Review and approve preliminary project and equipment schedules, financial projections, cost-to-complete, and project status reports.
- Direct and supervise project administration staff, engineers, and work in partnership with project superintendents to establish operational priorities.
- Maintain exceptional relationships with owners, subcontractors, design partners, and unions; handle day-to-day communications with customers and subcontractor partners.
- Ensure creation and maintenance of subcontractor partner contracts.
- Forecast, track, and report project costs/revenue; ensure adherence to project estimates.
- Develop strategy for staffing, personnel development, performance management, and training.
- Resolve issues involving labor disputes, staffing, materials, equipment, and contracts/subcontracts administration.
- Notify management of significant project events, including successes, issues, injuries, client relations, and potential losses/claims.
- Coordinate with Safety Manager to ensure projects are completed in accordance with established safety goals.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in project management.
- Previous technical bridge experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience managing construction teams.
- Proven success in client relationships.
- Specific roles may require relocation.
