About the role

As a Project Manager in Donaldson's Power Generation business, you will drive growth and profitability through day-to-day leadership of cross-functional teams to deliver projects in line with the business’s quality, time, and cost targets. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Operations, you will support timely and effective project launches and execution. Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office/facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
• Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
• Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that project team adheres to project requirements
• Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
• Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
• Structure and manage integrated, multi-track project performance KPIs for multiple deployment projects, with an eye on overall progress
• Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and customers
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans
• Ensure clear, consistent, and regular communication to the organization in line with strategy
• Travel: Up to 5%

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years project management experience
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office/facility
• Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

• Strong technical and application knowledge
• Strong analytical and financial acumen
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, project management skills, and fluent with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools
• Technical degree in engineering or related field
• Presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Manufacturing company experience

Pay

Annual Salary Range: $71,900 – $91,700. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.
