This role is based at the Beasley, TX facility and is classified as safety-sensitive due to exposure to heavy machinery, power tools, and potentially hazardous conditions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the entire project lifecycle for Air Cooled Heat Exchanger manufacturing projects.
- Develop and manage project plans, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and production, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations, maintaining clear communication throughout the project.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing proactive measures to ensure project success.
- Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, providing regular updates on milestones, timelines, and budgetary status.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, motivating and supporting team members to achieve project goals.
- Work with executive leadership and key stakeholders to ensure project ideation and planning align with business objectives.
Work Environment
- Mostly indoor office environment with some outdoor/shop exposure.
- Noisy/loud shop environment requiring adherence to safety protocols.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Mechanical Engineering degree is a plus).
- 5+ years of project management or product ownership experience, preferably in Air Cooled Heat Exchangers engineering or fabrication.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and project scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate teams.
Skills
- PMP Certification or Lean Six Sigma (a plus).
- Knowledge of PMP methodologies or frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with Air Cooled Heat Exchanger technology and relevant industry codes/standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and analytics/dashboards (PowerBI is a plus).
