Project Manager II-Ancillary Inspection

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs complex engineering computations involving conventional engineering practices.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
• Is active in technical societies.
• Publishes engineering papers and/or articles.
• Plans, designs, and directs projects from inception to completion.
• Manages project budgets.
• Responsible for project schedules and timely completion of projects.
• Maintains accurate client billings and monitors outstanding accounts receivable.
• Provides leadership in client management, proposal preparation, project scoping, and estimating project costs.
• Maintains meaningful relationships with clients.
• Attends meetings or events outside of normal working hours as needed.
• Directs and supervises the work of project teams and support staff.
• Observes and acts in an appropriate manner related to safety.
• Ensures staff receive specialized training in health and safety procedures and practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in ancillary structure inspection and ancillary structure design/repair design.
• Ability to manage projects, liaise with clients and government agencies, and perform both structural inspections and design.
• Highly motivated, technically driven professional looking for career growth.
• Up to 50% travel may be required.
