Responsibilities

  • Lead project manager for new RPM projects that range from short to long in duration, more complex and ambiguous, and/or low to medium/high risk, including managing scope, timeline, costs, quality standards, and trials.
  • Lead ad-hoc projects, managing timeline, costs, quality standards, and applicable trials and samples.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Sales Directors.
  • Lead project manager for select major product line transitions, which may include substrate, packaging, and/or formulation changes.
  • Provide administrative support for category-specific and/or customer-specific projects, such as facilitating sample requests and packaging requests.
  • Facilitate and use RPM and project management processes, including related required documentation.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Rockline’s RRITE Values: Renew, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Excellence.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, as associates play a direct role in maintaining workplace safety.
  • Contribute to a cooperative working effort by performing other job-related tasks as needed or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management, including leading cross-functional teams and initiatives.
  • PMP Certification preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Key competencies: motivating others, dealing with ambiguity, teamwork, adaptability, problem-solving, customer focus, conflict management, and crucial conversation skills.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently, prioritizing business needs effectively.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellence in written, verbal, interpersonal, quantitative, and computer skills.
  • Ability to support increasingly complex projects and solve technical challenges.
  • Willingness to pursue PMP or other Project Management Certification training.

FLSA Status: Exempt (Grade 10: Project Manager I, Grade 11: Project Manager II)
