Pay
Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
- Level I Estimated annual base pay: $67,000 (minimum) - $87,000 (midpoint)
- Level II Estimated annual base pay: $80,000 (minimum) - $104,000 (midpoint)

Responsibilities
Level I & II
- Lead projects and mentor project coordinators
- Accountable for project results and artifacts (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, etc.)
- Lead project meetings, reviews, gates, and deliverables
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on goals
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans
- Estimate, allocate, and manage project budgets
- Foster teamwork, trust, accountability, and open communication in cross-functional/matrix teams
- Adjust plans in response to changing circumstances; manage scope and change requests
- Apply project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools (e.g., Planisware, Jira)
- Use standard PM techniques like Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Gantt charts

- Leadership: Build trust, resolve conflicts, and foster collaboration; take ownership and drive team commitment
- Time Management/Prioritization: Manage schedules, set milestones, and address competing demands (Level II: demonstrated ability)

- Stakeholder Management: Engage stakeholders, address concerns, and secure buy-in
- Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks; develop contingency plans

- Budget Management: Estimate, allocate, and monitor project budgets

- Scope/Change Management: Define and control scope; manage change requests while maintaining alignment with objectives
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering degree preferred
- PMP or Agile certification preferred
- Level I: Minimum 1–3 years of project management experience
- Level II: Minimum 3+ years of project management experience
- Position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be U.S. Persons (citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) or eligible for required authorizations.
