Project Manager I - Gas

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple large natural gas projects concurrently
  • Maintain, implement, and monitor quality control systems across assigned natural gas projects
  • Forecast fee revenue on an ongoing monthly basis
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Lead team meetings, resolve problems, address employee performance, handle complaints, and support training and continuous improvement
  • Identify and schedule training programs
  • Develop strategic plans
  • Implement programs to achieve strategic growth plans for the Business Unit and company
  • Identify project resource needs
  • Aid in identifying key talent
  • Prepare or assist with proposals
  • Participate in sales calls and client presentations
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Collaborate across Business Units
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as necessary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent technical degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a utility industry
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing/leading engineering projects in a utility industry or engineering consulting firm as a senior project engineer or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer
  • ISO Project Management Training
