The Project Manager is responsible for administrative project management support including customer interactions. Responsibilities The incumbent in this position must be capable of maintaining client needs, study schedules, identifying and understanding a client's requirements, as well as managing the delivery of high-quality customer service. The incumbent must be highly organized and able to interact with a variety of customers, both internal and external, and act as the primary point of contact for projects. The incumbent must also independently coordinate the work of others as well as their own to help to ensure that budget and time constraints are met. This person must anticipate problems before they occur and affect whatever solutions necessary to assure that a quality product is produced. Track and manage the study and product timeline and alert appropriate staff proactively to meet delivery goals including providing product details, study design and feasibility support to the commercial team as neededKit DesignReview open orders with site managementTrack study progress, budget compliance, and supply site custom collection success rate; proactively communicate project status to internal stakeholders.Coordinate with Operations to either reach project milestones or on the needs of custom procured specimens which require lab processing.Perform integrated change control on projects as needed.Coordinator between multiple projects at a business or organization to be sure they are benefiting each other and aligning with overall business goals. Ability to assess and report on study and project progress, milestones, timelines, metrics, performance, and budgeting to management Primary point of contact for client Triage client communications and bring in additional resources as needed from all area of the company to answer questionsHelp to ensure compliance with the signed proposal on specific studiesDevelops a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant business areasFollows appropriate safety guidelinesMaintain effective communication, coordination and working relations with other personnel and management. Position Requirements BSc in biological sciences or equivalent experienceUnderstanding of the process and scientific requirements for drug and diagnostic discovery and developmentFluency in English language; excellent written EnglishFamiliarity with scientific terminologyStrong relationship building and managing experience (customer service)Strong proficiency with Word and Outlook, and ExcelAbility to quickly learn computer programs with multiple applications and da t a entries Knowldege of scientific/manufacturing principles associated with product design, development and manufacturing (GLP, CAP and GMP) environments a plus Working Conditions Travel may be requiredOccasional contact with dry ice and liquid nitrogen vapor Contact with human biological specimens and sharps on an as-needed-basis We offer a comprehensive benefit package, competitive time-off policies and a collaborative environment that promotes growth from within.
