Project Manager-HVAC

About the role

We are a commercial mechanical company in Phoenix looking for a Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC projects, ensuring timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery. This hands-on role spans project stages from planning and design through completion and handover, with responsibility for maintaining strong relationships across clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Negotiate contracts effectively with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage the installation of HVAC systems, commercial plumbing, and mechanical and industrial piping.
• Oversee the construction management process, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to work.
• Ensure all projects are completed within budget, identifying any potential cost overruns and taking steps to prevent them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or relevant experience.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC sheet metal, mechanical, refrigerant piping, and hydronic piping.

Pay

$120,000 – $180,000 per year
