Job Description
Lead end-to-end project management for healthcare IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Bridge the gap between clinical/operational healthcare needs and technical solutions.
Translate complex healthcare requirements into actionable technical specifications.
Understand health insurance processes, claims management, and reimbursement workflows.
Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including operational staff, IT teams, executives, vendors, and external partners.
Facilitate effective communication across all organizational levels.
Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and provide transparent project updates.
Navigate competing priorities and negotiate solutions that satisfy multiple stakeholders.
Manage change management processes and drive user adoption.
Lead cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, healthcare professionals, and business users.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
- Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, SAFe).
- Minimum 5-7 years of project management experience in healthcare IT environments.
- Proven experience with health insurance operations, claims processing, or healthcare revenue cycle.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale IT implementations in healthcare settings.
- Strong understanding of healthcare IT infrastructure, systems integration, and data management.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, X12).
- Knowledge of database management, cloud technologies, and software development lifecycles.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Deep understanding of healthcare delivery models and insurance operations.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and quality standards.
- Familiarity with value-based care, population health management, and healthcare analytics.
