Project Manager - Healthcare
About the role
Estimates and manages projects from the earliest conceptual phase up to and through final completion and closeout. Runs one or more projects simultaneously to ensure both the customer and the company are successful.
Responsibilities
- Manage workload of project engineers
- Serve as the primary interface with owner and architect
- Maintain a high level of safety
- Work with the Superintendent to enhance project margins
- Ensure projects are completed on or before the contract completion date
- Ensure projects are built in accordance with the approved plans and specifications
- Keep all accounts receivable current and bill projects accordingly
- Provide job cost/margin forecasts
- Manage maintenance of RFI, COP, and submittal logs
- Close out projects cleanly and completely within 30 days of completion
- Provide all pertinent information to the construction team
Requirements
- 4-year degree in a construction-related major
- Minimum 5–10 years’ project management experience
- Minimum 5–10 years’ estimating experience
- Previous experience with healthcare and fast-paced construction managing multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to pass a drug test and comply with the company vehicle safety program
Skills
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
- Understanding of accounting, financial statements, job cost, and cash flow
- Experience creating MS Project schedules
- Focus on following processes and procedures, taking ownership, and handling difficult conversations

Sick leave accrues at one (1) hour for every 30 hours worked, capped at 240 hours. Unused sick leave up to 240 hours carries over at the end of each calendar year.
Pay
The full salary range for this position is $110,000 to $150,000. This position is eligible for a target bonus.
