Key Responsibility
- On-boarding all new customer/products, changes to existing products, and transfer products from/to other manufacturing sites from inception to launch at quality standard and on-time.
- Plan, document, and provide project status reports on each project assigned by management.
- Ensure that project plans are based on complete specifications and customer expectations.
- Manage Scrum teams and drive decisions at the right level, guiding and resolving scope and resource conflicts, and coordinating with functional managers and customers/partners to ensure on-time completion of deliverables.
- Assess project risk and issues in key areas (budget, schedule, quality/functionality, and cost) throughout the project. Communicate them to the team and project stakeholders and coordinate mitigation activities.
- Accountable for team’s performance to project targets of schedule, project cost, product cost, feature completeness, and product quality. This includes understanding and managing capabilities, systems, and resources - processes, tools, costs, and people.
- Provide leadership to project teams through motivation, influence, and coaching of team members – focusing on encouragement and empowerment. Gauge and understand the urgency of the matter and should be able to react accordingly.
- Communicate directly with the customer(s) in writing, by phone, and in person as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required or equivalent years of experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading new product development process/project management.
- SAP is strongly desired.
- Effectively able to communicate at all levels of management internally /externally.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Promote cooperation by projecting a positive attitude.
