Project Manager - Full time, Day, Onsite

About the role

Providence is seeking a Project Manager to oversee one or more large, diverse, and complex projects in clinical informatics, physician practice implementations, quality improvement, strategic objectives, and information technology. This role manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of large, complex projects with accountability to the Executive Sponsor.
• Develop and modify process standards and objectives for projects as appropriate.
• Make formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders.
• Apply Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
• Manage projects involving multiple teams, product development life-cycles, or quality life-cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of experience in information technologies, project management, healthcare administration, or a clinical field. Equivalent education/experience may substitute.
• Coursework or training in Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
• CAP, Workout, and Lean education training required within the first year on the job.
• Experience with PM methodologies and software.
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement and developing/modifying process standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
• Experience working with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or LEAN.

• California:
  • Humboldt: $40.98 – $64.88
  • All Northern California (except Humboldt): $46.91 – $72.82
  • All Southern California (except Bakersfield): $41.81 – $64.91
  • Bakersfield: $40.11 – $62.27
• Idaho: $35.69 – $55.41
• Montana:
  • Except Great Falls: $32.29 – $50.13
  • Great Falls: $30.59 – $47.49
• New Mexico: $32.29 – $50.13
• Nevada: $41.81 – $64.91
• Oregon:
  • Non-Portland Service Area: $37.39 – $58.05
  • Portland Service Area: $40.11 – $62.27
• Texas: $30.59 – $47.49
• Washington:
  • Western (except Tukwila): $41.81 – $64.91
  • Southwest (Olympia, Centralia & below): $40.11 – $62.27
  • Tukwila: $41.81 – $64.91
  • Eastern: $35.69 – $55.41
  • South Eastern: $37.39 – $58.05

These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
