About the role

The Project Manager is accountable for one or more large, diverse and complex projects in the areas of clinical informatics; physician practice implementations; quality improvement; strategic objectives and goals; information technology projects. Manages all aspects of projects with direct accountability to the Executive Sponsor.

Responsibilities

  • Manages multiple project teams, product development life-cycle, or quality life-cycle.
  • Develops and modifies process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate.
  • Makes formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Plus 3 years experience in information technologies, project management, healthcare administration or clinical field.
  • Or equivalent education/experience.
  • Coursework/Training: Education with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
  • Coursework/Training: CAP, Workout and Lean education training required as soon as available or within the first year on the job.
  • Experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple project teams, product development life-cycle, or quality life-cycle.
  • Experience with PM methodologies and software.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Plus 3 years experience in information technologies, project management, healthcare administration or clinical field. Or equivalent education/experience. Coursework/Training: Education with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles. Coursework/Training: CAP, Workout and Lean education training required as soon as available or within the first year on the job. Experience with Project Management methodology based on Project Management principles. Experience managing projects with multiple project teams, product development life-cycle, or quality life-cycle. Experience with PM methodologies and software. Experience making formal and informal presentations to senior and executive management and key stakeholders. Demonstrated experience developing and modifying process standards and objectives to a project as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Upon hire: Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute.
  • Experience working with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or LEAN.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
