About the role

Responsible for leading and coordinating banking projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic goals. Ensures seamless collaboration among cross-functional teams while managing resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with senior management, stakeholders, and business units to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develops and manages comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations from initiation to post-implementation, ensuring effective execution and delivery.
• Coordinates tasks across departments and lead diverse project teams, assigning roles and responsibilities to ensure clear ownership and accountability.
• Assesses new project requests for feasibility, strategic alignment, financial justification, workflow implications, technology needs, and potential risks.
• Tracks progress against plans, proactively manage risks and issues, and provide consistent updates to executive leadership and stakeholders through meetings, reports, and presentations.
• Oversees project adherence to banking regulations, data governance standards, and internal policies, supporting audit and compliance efforts as needed.
• Assists in gathering and validating business requirements, stakeholder expectations, dependencies, and test plans to ensure project outcomes meet business needs.
• Evaluates project outcomes, gathers feedback, and implements lessons learned to improve project methodologies, tools, and cross-departmental collaboration for future initiatives.

• Structures tasks, manages time efficiently, and stays driven to meet goals without constant supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing projects, preferably within the banking or financial services sector is required. Basic understanding of the banking industry and methodology is required.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
