About the Role

Service multiple sales and house accounts as assigned. Estimate projects by analyzing specifications, determining optimal production, preparing preliminary layouts, working directly with vendors for pricing, creating quote letters, and managing a filing system.

Responsibilities

  • Service multiple sales and house accounts as assigned.
  • Estimate projects: analyze specifications, determine optimal production, prepare preliminary layouts, work directly with vendors for pricing, create quote letters, and manage filing system.
  • Routinely review job cost sheets and refer to them for estimating future orders.
  • Enter sales orders and develop Bill of Materials (job materials, operations/production data) using Syteline.
  • Purchase print—coordinate approvals and timing.
  • Effectively communicate complete and accurate details to individual departments.
  • Oversee manufacturing process from concept to final output, including expediting.
  • Facilitate approval process for die, instruction sheets, cartons, labels, and shipping.
  • Receive, respond to, and solve internal and external inquiries and/or complaints.
  • Interact as liaison between sales team, customer, design, and manufacturing.
  • Maintain production schedule for individual jobs.
  • Work independently—regularly exercise judgment and discretion.
  • Maintain highly organized, detailed records of specifications, estimate details, and job information.
  • Maintain a positive, cooperative, professional attitude toward customers, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Continually meet or exceed internal and external customer needs and expectations in quality and service.
  • Maintain a good attendance record.
  • Offer suggestions for problem-solving, streamlining processes, etc.
  • Offer assistance to less experienced employees on job duties/procedures as needs arise.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by Supervisor or Management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Excellent customer service, math, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Syteline is a plus.
  • Previous work experience in manufacturing of packaging and displays is a plus.
