About the role
The Project Manager will oversee a comprehensive facilities management and maintenance contract supporting the Library of Congress Packard Campus. The role involves serving as the primary point of contact with the Government and providing leadership for all operational, maintenance, staffing, quality control, and contract administration activities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Government and contract personnel.
- Manage daily operations and ensure contract compliance.
- Cook up staffing, scheduling, subcontractors, and resources.
- Maintain contract performance, budgets, and deliverables.
- Review maintenance reports, quality inspections, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and contractual requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing commercial or government facilities maintenance contracts.
- Experience supervising multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
