About the role
Modern Construction Services is growing fast, and our facilities work is moving faster. We are a certified WBENC women-owned commercial construction and facilities maintenance company, headquartered in Charlotte and serving clients nationwide. We need a Project Manager who can own a busy book of facilities projects from start to finish and keep all of them on track without letting anything slip.
Requirements
- Two to five years managing projects, accounts, operations, or facilities. This is not an entry-level role
- Direct construction-side experience. We are a general contractor, and the background that translates comes from the construction provider side, ideally a smaller construction company doing facilities or higher-volume, smaller-dollar work
- Calm under a high volume of moving parts, and able to reprioritize on the fly
- A clear, confident communicator who keeps clients steady even when the news is not good
- Strong with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and quick to learn a work order system such as Fexa or Corrigo
- A high school diploma required. Trade school, an industry certification, or a college degree is a plus
Benefits
- On-target earnings are $150,000 or more in year 1
- A base of up to $80,000 depending on experience
- Quarterly performance bonuses
