Responsibilities

  • Supervise multiple personnel within the project team.
  • Manage overall project budgets and schedules to deliver fabrication projects in accordance with customers' expectations.
  • Coordinate the architectural design, structural engineering, and modeling progress.
  • Coordinate scope and design with the general contractor and adjacent subcontractors during the design phase.
  • Manage the preparation of permit documents for submission to proper parties.
  • Manage the overall process of achieving approval to fabricate from the general contractor/architect.
  • Manage the internal model coordination process and ensure projects are coordinated timely and effectively.
  • Coordinate installation with installation teams and general contractor.
  • Provide support to the installation team should questions or issues arise during installation.
  • Oversee and track budget status and team performance.
  • Prepare and submit project billings, as well as forecast costs.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to lead and direct project team members.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues in a diplomatic manner.
  • Effective participation in collaborative team environment.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office Suite and Revu BlueBeam.
  • Revit or AutoCAD experience a plus.
  • A strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of commercial construction project management.
  • Applicable experience managing design/modeling/detailing activities.
  • Experience leading a team of 5 or more people.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management OR 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times if needed.
