Project Manager - Estimator/Xactimate (New London)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager to oversee projects for residential and commercial losses caused by fire, water, mold, and natural disasters. This role involves developing relationships to build and grow accounts, managing projects from start to finish, and overseeing contractors with the help of an assigned Construction Superintendent. The position offers a base salary of $80,000 - $90,000 annually, negotiable based on experience, plus an annual bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide repair and restoration estimates for project leads.
  • Lead communication efforts between customers and insurance providers.
  • Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget.
  • Evaluate construction progress and team performance.
  • Manage financial aspects of repair and restoration projects.
  • Identify potential legal problems and litigations, reviewing them with the Branch Manager and Construction Superintendent.
  • Oversee completion of project close-out.
  • Represent the company in project meetings.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to all project team members.
  • Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients.
  • Actively lead internal teams focused on continuous business improvement.
  • Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
  • Familiarize yourself with all Policies and Processes related to this position.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.

Requirements

  • Prior disaster restoration experience (both residential and commercial).
  • Restoration estimating experience and ability to write scopes in Xactimate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to travel out of town as required.
  • Pass background check and drug screen.

Pay
