Project Manager- Estimator/ Property Adjuster/Xactimate (Miami)

About the role

We’re looking for a Project Manager to oversee projects for residential and commercial losses caused by fire, water, mold, and natural disasters. This individual will develop relationships to build and grow accounts, manage projects from start to finish, and oversee contractors. We are seeking candidates with both sales and project management experience within disaster restoration, ideally for commercial accounts and/or large loss.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Design Development, providing the necessary liaison between the pre-construction department and the owner.
• Support and implement the Company’s Project Quality Planning and Control process.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with client and A/E contacts to facilitate successful project execution, including attending client-initiated meetings and ceremonial events.
• Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate the preparation of the schedule and long-term planning.
• Evaluate construction progress and team performance to ensure projects are built on schedule and within budget.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect client and company interests: review and approve budgets, cost reports, owner’s reports, fee payment, rental equipment, income, expenses, etc.
• Perform the final review of internal items such as Cost Analysis Worksheets, Monthly Billing to Owner, Master Cost Breakdown, General Conditions Estimate, Labor Cost Report, and Monthly Reports.
• Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of subordinate project managers and support staff.
• Provide support, direction, and encourage training of subordinate team members.
• Oversee completion of project close-out.
• Represent the company in project meetings.
• Identify new work opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing of potential projects with current clients.
• Actively lead internal team(s) focused on continuous improvement of the business.
• Promote the growth and development of client, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
• Familiarize yourself with all Policies and Processes related to this position.
• Proactively identify and solve problems to minimize risk.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in restoration and/or construction experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Xactimate.
• Prior disaster mitigation estimating experience highly desired.
• Adjuster experience highly desired, but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to travel out of town.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
