Project Manager / Estimator - Commercial Drywall

About the role

Our client, a leading firm in the construction industry, is looking for a skilled Mechanical Project Manager with a strong aptitude for estimating to lead and deliver commercial HVAC, piping, and sheet metal projects for office buildings.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC mechanical projects from initiation through completion, including scheduling, coordination, and execution.
• Prepare accurate estimates and manage change orders to maintain project budgets.
• Oversee design-build processes as part of integrated project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with an in-house full HVAC shop—sheet metal fabrication, service departments, and installation teams—to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Use Word, Excel, Outlook, and Procore to streamline communications and project documentation.

Requirements

• Proven project management and estimating experience in commercial mechanical construction, preferably HVAC.
• Experience handling change orders and participating in design-build projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fully integrated, in-house environment spanning fabrication to installation.
